Step back 150 years when you explore this historic village with dozens of original, restored buildings, countless collections and displays. Designated as a historic site in 1984, you will experience a past that our ancestors regarded as everyday life.

Sackrider Church
$100 Deposit
Built in 1894 using bricks manufactured in Pentwater, this historic church was moved to the District in 1988, restored and furnished to provide a unique location for weddings, funerals, and other services.

Heritage Hall
$100 Deposit
Large room with pine walls, stage, audio system, kitchen, and bathrooms. Heritage Hall is located inside the museum and has a large covered patio attached to the hall.

Mudget Pavillion
$100 Deposit
Mudget Pavillion is a rustic outdoor venue with the convenience of an enclosed kitchen and the security of a roof. The pavilion is in the center of the district, surrounded by gardens... it is a beautiful backdrop for any occasion.
